Robert Chelin D.P.M. is a doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) who has practiced in Toronto since 1982. Having graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) in 1978, he then studied Podiatry in Chicago for four years at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating as a podiatrist in 1982.

The longest standing President of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association, Robert is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and is a Diplomat of The American Academy of Pain Management. He is certified in diagnostic ultrasound and is trained in the latest treatment for heel pain. His other specialty includes minimal incision foot surgery.

Robert has also served as President of The Ontario Podiatric Medical Association and sits on the Board of The International Association of Podiatrists.

As a member of The Advisory Board of The Health Journal, Canada’s authoritative health forum, Robert has made several television appearances, such as CBC Health Show and The Life Channel, and has written for such publications as The Toronto Star, Chatelaine Magazine and Homemaker’s Magazine.
